A designer is a concept creator, constant learner of the past and present, always thinking about the future.
Design Statement
Through graphic design I want to show others what I see. Design is simple and complex. Design is fun and playful. Textiles, patterns, and colors are used everyday. When used in the right way we can expand our quality of life.
Analytical and Synthetic Cubism
Analytical Cubism is taking natural parts and simplifying them into basic forms or cubes creating a 3-demintional look.
Portrait of Ambrose Vollard, Pablo Picasso 1910
The Chair, Simon The Bold 2009
Synthetic Cubism is expressed through collage. Pieces that have nothing to do with the subject matter can be morphed or formed to look or represent the subject.
Still Life with Chair-caning, Pablo Picasso 1911-1912
Monk Sculpture, Martel Chapman 2007-2008
